The Honeymoon...

Okay, since you clicked here, you must be interested in knowing what we'll be up to for our honeymoon, and we'll be happy to oblige, at least as far as we actually have planned...

That's right, just take a look at that exciting travel photo!  We'll be on the lookout for the missing lander as we head to exotic MARS!!!

Okay, okay, no, actually, we'll be leaving early in the morning on Sunday, August 6, 2000 to fly to Arizona, where we plan to spend about a week and a half skittering about, seeing what there is to see and doing what there is to do.

On the afternoon we arrive, we have tickets to see the Arizona Diamondbacks / New York Mets game at Bank One ballpark; the tickets are already here and hanging in a prominently visible position, to serve as a bit of a nudge-along morale booster during frantic wedding preparations.

The next day, we drive from Phoenix to Page, where we'll spend a few days seeing the Rainbow Bridge vicinity, as well as perhaps a trip down to the north rim of the Grand Canyon.  Then, we head back south to central Arizona, where we plan to hit sites such as the Grand Canyon's south rim, Meteor Crater, the Petrified Forest, et cetera.

Finally, on August 14, we head back down to stay one more night in Phoenix before flying back to Syracuse the next day.  We're really looking forward to it, and with all the wedding preparations and job hunting we've been at, by the time August rolls around, we're sure we'll need it!

Dad Hipius has already permitted us the use of one of his cameras for the trip, and we intend to take lots of pictures, so watch around this website for an online vacation album around late August.
